Another month of active development has come to a close. Here are the developments that happened on the blockchain in October 2025 👇

▶️ After several years of active developments, the much awaited DMDv4 mainnet got launched on October 13th, 2025. All thanks to our community members who are already participating on the mainnet. We currently have approximately 70 validators on the mainnet network, with several delegated stakers added on top of them.

They are now having real-life, practical experiences on how epoch rewards are earned and how participation in the DAO looks. Members are also able to seamlessly claim their v4 airdrop for v4 coins based on their v3 snapshot coin balances. Indeed, this is a defining moment for all of us as a community, and we are confident that the future holds great potential for the DMD Diamond ecosystem.

It provides guides on how to set up and run the DMDv4 and validator nodes, how to customize the configuration of your Web3 wallet for the v4 mainnet network, how to claim the v4 airdrop for v4 coins, and ultimately, how to interact with the Diamond-UI — a central dApp where users interact with the DMD Diamond blockchain.

▶️ Biconomy became the first exchange to list the new v4 coins. This is primarily aimed at our USA community members, who have complained about difficulty trading on other existing exchanges, such as BitMart and P2PB2B.

In this medium, we heralded the DMD Diamond blockchain as an innovative, decentralized Layer 1 ecosystem with industry-first capabilities. We were also able to network with key movers and enthusiasts in the blockchain industry.

▶️ The DMD Diamond grant program is still on! It aims to support the development of new decentralized applications (dApps) and tools on top of our ecosystem. The initiative seeks to expand the DMD Diamond ecosystem through projects in DeFi, GameFi, NFTs, and other areas.

Teams with creative and practical solutions can receive funding up to $5,000, and the best project will be awarded a full validator node with 10,000 DMD.
