NFT News - Sorare lets users buy and trade fantasy sports NFTs using cash

The elements of conventional fantasy sports are combined with the collectibility of trading cards in Sorare's game. Users may buy, sell, and construct teams of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that represent real-world athletes, earning points based on how well those athletes perform in the real world.

These cards are made available in a range of rarities, with an auction setting the price for each one. Cards may now be converted into actual cash, but up until recently, doing so required having a cryptocurrency wallet and using the Ethereum (ETH) network to make purchases.

In Sorare's opinion, this procedure is a major impediment to the widespread adoption of Web 3.0 technology in general as well as its own platform.

In collaboration with Mangopay, it has developed a cash wallet that enables users to link their bank accounts and save card information. This cash wallet enables users to deposit and withdraw money that can then be used to buy card packs, place bids on auctions, and sell cards. Should users want, the wallet also supports Ethereum platform-based Ether cryptocurrency transactions in addition to payments in US dollars, Euros, and British pounds. All gamers will have access to the Sorare wallet starting in August.
