We’re excited to share a major milestone: Theta Labs has officially joined the ranks of the Blockchain Association (BA) — a decision that aligns with our vision and reflects our commitment to shaping the future of blockchain technology in the US and beyond.

The Blockchain Association is the leading US nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a pro-innovation policy environment for the digital asset economy. They work with their members to educate policymakers about blockchain technology and its ability to pave the way for a more secure, competitive, and consumer-friendly digital marketplace.

Their mission is to advance the future of crypto in the United States, promoting the potential of blockchain technology and shaping policy that ensures its success.” Some of the key activities the BA engages in include:

• Educating policymakers in Washington and beyond about blockchain and digital-asset technology
• Advocating for a pro-innovation regulatory framework, and working to ensure that legislation or regulation does not stifle the technology’s potential
• Providing its members with policy analysis, briefings, visits to Capitol Hill, and input into regulatory proposals
• Facilitating working groups across many sub-sectors of the industry (DeFi, DePIN, stablecoins, Layer 1/Layer 2, self-custody, etc) to build consensus and shape industry-wide positions
