5. JioCinema 

JioCinema is owned by a subsidiary of Reliance Industries called Jio Platforms. It is the cheapest streaming service in India. It was on 5th September 2016, that the subscription-based video-on-demand OTT streaming service launched. The content library features television shows, films, web series, documentaries, and music videos. There are web applications aside from the mobile applications available on Android and iOS devices. In the context of viewership market share, JioCinema stands at more than 7%. The OTT is an exclusive use made by the Jio customers who possess a prime membership which does not collect any charges for the usage.

6. ALTBalaji 

ALTBalaji is an Indian OTT platform that is accessible through multiple interfaces. The content provided can be accessed on all mobile handsets (iOS and Android) and Web browsers, etc., Chromecast, smart TV, etc. ALTBalaji is a content bank that holds videos of various genres like drama, comedy, crime, mystery, thrillers, and romance. The platform has more than 2.1 million subscribers and offers three plans: INR 100 for two months, INR 199 for six months, and INR 300 for 12 months.

7. SonyLiv 

Sony Pictures Networks India is the owner of SonyLIV, one of the most prominent OTT platform providers in India. It was launched in 2013 and has been providing its users with films, television series, original web series, live sports matches, games, and content licensed from third parties such as ITV and Lionsgate. SonyLiv has over 1.81 million subscribers. The OTT platform has three subscription plans: INR 299/year; INR 399/year; and INR 999/year. 

8. MX Player 

MX Player is among the free OTT platforms operating in India, developed by MX Media and Entertainment. Running on an ad-support model, the platform claims to possess a streaming library of more than 150,000 hours across twelve languages, including Hindi, English, Tamil, and many more. Apps of MX Player allow people to watch content on the web and iOS and Android mobile devices. In 2018, Times Internet bought a majority stake in the service for $140 million. Viacom18 owns Voot. It is one of India's best OTT content providers and one advertising-led video-on-demand. In short, it launched in 2016 and comes as applications available in iOS, KaiOS(JioPhone), Android applications, and web apps for desktop computers and streaming through Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, and Android TVs. It offers content in multiple languages, which includes Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Odia, Malayalam, Telugu, Gujarati, and Tamil. There are more than 40,000 hours of content. The OTT service available only in India features shows from channels like MTV, Colors, and Nickelodeon. Voot boasts about having about 1 million subscribers and 100 million active users per month. It charges a subscription fee of INR 999/year. Users can subscribe for INR 299/year for a limited period. 

10. Saina Play 

Saina Play is one of the biggest OTT companies in India which has regional Indian movies (majorly Malayalam movies) and original content that a user can watch on their favorite device.
