Accenture Launches Nvidia Business Group to Accelerate Enterprise AI Adoption
Accenture has established a new Nvidia Business Group to train 30,000 professionals to help enterprises scale AI adoption, marking a major initiative in the AI era. Lan Guan, Accenture’s Chief AI Officer, emphasized that the company's internal transformation aligns with helping clients reinvent business processes using AI agents. The group will train existing employees while also hiring new talent, although the exact number of new hires has not been disclosed.
Focus on Generative AI Demand and Strategic Partnership
Accenture’s new group is part of an expanded partnership with Nvidia, driven by the growing demand for generative AI. Accenture recorded $3 billion in AI-related business in the previous fiscal year. This partnership will utilize Nvidia’s AI stack—including AI Foundry, AI Enterprise, and Omniverse—to enhance process automation, AI-powered simulations, and sovereign AI initiatives. The collaboration will also benefit Nvidia by promoting the use of its AI processors.
AI Refinery and Cloud Integration
Accenture's AI Refinery, a crucial component of this partnership, will be available on both public and private cloud platforms. This platform integrates seamlessly with other Accenture Business Groups, aiming to accelerate AI adoption across SaaS and Cloud AI ecosystems. Accenture’s CEO, Julie Sweet, noted that the partnership with Nvidia is enabling clients to lead in the use of generative AI for business reinvention and operational transformation.
Agentic AI and Sovereign AI Initiatives
The partnership is focused on scaling agentic AI, which is the next frontier in generative AI. Unlike traditional systems that rely on predefined steps, agentic AI can act autonomously based on user intent, creating new workflows and transforming entire business processes. A notable success story is the collaboration with Indosat Group to introduce the first sovereign AI in Indonesia, aimed at helping financial institutions improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Innovative Solutions for Industrial Automation
Accenture will also introduce a new Nvidia NIM Agent Blueprint for simulating robot fleets in virtual facilities. This solution, leveraging Nvidia Omniverse, Isaac, and Metropolis software, will be implemented at Eclipse Automation, an Accenture-owned company. It is expected to reduce design times by up to 50% and cut cycle times by 30%.
AI Engineering Hubs to Support Large-Scale Operations
Accenture is expanding its network of AI engineering hubs to better serve large-scale AI deployments. These hubs, located in cities like Singapore, Tokyo, Malaga, and London, will focus on developing and fine-tuning large foundation models to address challenges related to accuracy, cost, and compliance. Accenture’s marketing function is also integrating the AI Refinery platform to automate campaigns, which is expected to result in significant efficiency gains and cost savings.
