Crypto News Today: Bitcoin Inflows, Solana RWA Reaches USD 4.2 billion, Revolut Launches EURR Stablecoin

Published: 2026-08-27 03:05:23 pm

The cryptocurrency industry continues to see notable developments across institutional investment, tokenized real-world assets, stablecoins, and blockchain infrastructure. Bitcoin spot ETFs attracted more than $314 million in net inflows, while Solana's real-world asset ecosystem surpassed the $4 billion mark. Meanwhile, Revolut has begun introducing its euro-backed EURR stablecoin to selected European customers, and Bitdeer reported a significant increase in Bitcoin production during July.

Bitcoin Spot ETFs Attract More Than $314 Million

Bitcoin investment products continued to attract capital, with spot Bitcoin ETFs recording approximately $314.37 million in combined net inflows during the latest trading session.

BlackRock's IBIT accounted for the largest portion of the inflows, receiving approximately $284.42 million. Its cumulative net inflows have now reached around $62.92 billion.

Fidelity's FBTC followed with approximately $15.45 million in daily net inflows, bringing its historical cumulative inflows to about $10.30 billion.

Across the spot Bitcoin ETF market, total net assets stood at approximately $99.05 billion, representing an ETF net asset ratio of 6.31%. Cumulative historical net inflows across these products reached approximately $54.36 billion.

The continued movement of capital into spot Bitcoin ETFs highlights sustained investor interest in regulated exposure to the world's largest cryptocurrency.

Solana's Real-World Asset Market Crosses $4 Billion

Solana is also gaining momentum in the tokenization sector, with its real-world asset ecosystem reaching a new milestone above $4 billion.

Recent data indicates that the value of tokenized assets issued and managed through Solana has climbed rapidly, with the network's RWA ecosystem reaching an all-time high around the $4 billion level in late August.

Network activity has also remained strong, with billions of transactions being processed as digital-asset markets recovered. The expansion of tokenized assets demonstrates Solana's growing role in areas such as tokenized funds, credit, equities, and other blockchain-based representations of real-world assets.

SOL also experienced a strong price rally during the period referenced, adding to the positive momentum surrounding the network.

Revolut Begins EURR Stablecoin Rollout

European fintech company Revolut has entered the stablecoin market with EURR, a euro-backed digital asset designed to maintain a value of approximately €1.

The company began a phased rollout for eligible customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal, with broader availability across additional European Economic Area markets expected later in the year.

EURR gives eligible users an on-chain euro-denominated asset that can be used as a bridge between traditional fiat, cryptocurrencies, external wallets, and supported blockchain networks.

The stablecoin is issued by Bridge Building, a Bridge entity owned by Stripe. Revolut has also indicated that stablecoins linked to additional currencies are being explored through separate regulatory pathways.

The launch represents another step toward integrating blockchain-based assets with mainstream financial applications.

Bitdeer Reports 1,190 BTC Production in July

Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer reported a substantial increase in its July 2026 production, mining 1,190 BTC during the month.

The figure represents a 322% year-over-year increase compared with July 2025. Bitdeer's self-mining hash rate reached approximately 76.7 EH/s, while its total proprietary hash rate stood at 81.7 EH/s.

The company also highlighted its growing presence in artificial intelligence infrastructure. Bitdeer announced a $4.7 billion, 16-year AI/HPC data center lease at its Tydal campus in Norway. The agreement covers 121 IT MW and is intended to support NVIDIA GPU infrastructure for a leading AI laboratory.

The combination of Bitcoin mining operations and AI infrastructure reflects Bitdeer's broader strategy of expanding beyond traditional cryptocurrency mining.

Coinbase CEO Optimistic About CLARITY Act

Regulatory developments are also drawing attention from the crypto industry. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has expressed confidence that the Digital Asset Market CLARITY Act could secure more than 60 votes in a Senate cloture vote expected in September.

However, prediction-market expectations remain considerably more cautious, indicating a significant gap between industry optimism and market-based expectations.

The legislation faces an uncertain path following the Senate's failure to advance the measure before the August recess. The proposed September vote could therefore become an important milestone for the U.S. digital-asset regulatory landscape.

Crypto Market Continues to Expand Across Multiple Fronts

Recent developments show that cryptocurrency adoption is extending beyond price movements. Capital continues to enter regulated Bitcoin investment products, Solana is expanding its position in tokenized real-world assets, financial platforms are integrating stablecoins, and blockchain infrastructure companies are increasingly connecting crypto operations with AI and high-performance computing.

Together, these developments point toward a broader evolution of the digital-asset industry, where institutional investment, asset tokenization, stablecoins, and blockchain infrastructure are becoming increasingly interconnected.
