Aurascape AI, a trailblazing cybersecurity firm, announced today that it has successfully closed an oversubscribed seed funding round, amassing $12.8m.

Aurascape AI, founded in 2023, is poised to revolutionize cybersecurity with cutting-edge AI innovations. The company's recent funding round was led by Mayfield Fund, with substantial contributions from Celesta Capital, StepStone Group, AISpace, and prominent industry figures, including Mark McLaughlin, former Chairman and CEO of Palo Alto Networks.

Aurascape AI's mission is to address the unique cybersecurity challenges arising from the widespread adoption of AI in enterprise environments. The team comprises veterans from leading cybersecurity and AI firms such as Palo Alto Networks, Google, and Amazon, bringing extensive experience and a history of success.

The new investment will accelerate the development of Aurascape AI's pioneering cloud-native cybersecurity solutions, designed to offer superior protection against evolving threats in the AI-driven corporate landscape. Currently, the company is conducting proof-of-concepts with select clients and anticipates launching its first commercial product by the end of 2024.
