NFT News - Etihad Airways 'Horizon Club' Web3 Loyalty Program Will Let You Stake NFTs for Miles

Holders of the EY-ZERO1 NFTs will be able to lock up their assets in exchange for Etihad miles, which may be used to purchase upgrades and actual flights.

The national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, will soon introduce a new 300-edition expansion to its EY-ZERO1 non-fungible token (NFT) collection based on Polygon, promising holders a number of new advantages like Etihad Guest Silver Tier Status, priority check-in, lounge access, and the ability to stake their assets to earn miles.

The eleventh 3D airplane model has been added to its EY-ZERO1 NFT series, which initially debuted in July 2022, with the limited-edition release, which goes on sale on August 1. The Mission: Impossible-branded Boeing 787 Dreamliner was launched as part of a promotional tour for the recently released film, and the new NFTs are made to resemble that aircraft.

Exclusive incentives, such as Etihad Silver Tier status for a year and entry to an NFT holders' event at the Yas Marina Circuit, were offered to owners of the initial EY-ZERO1 collection. A longer list of virtual and physical benefits are included in the new collection, such as priority check-in, a 25% increase in Etihad Guest Miles earned, access to lounges at Abu Dhabi International Airport, membership in the Etihad: Virtual Club, a quick route to Gold Tier status, and a personalized Etihad membership card.

The "Horizon Club" Web3 loyalty program from Etihad will debut in September, along with a staking-for-miles initiative that will enable the community to lock up their NFTs in exchange for Etihad Guest Miles.
