Nitro Games Hits New Milestone: $12.3M Revenue in 2024

Game developer Nitro Games experienced remarkable growth in 2024, with revenue rising 29% year-over-year to €11.4 million ($12.3 million). The company’s EBITDA surged 241% to €2.4 million ($2.6 million), while net profits more than doubled, reaching €475,000 ($495,000), a 114% increase Y/Y.

In Q4 2024, Nitro Games reported €3 million ($3.2 million) in revenue, marking a 5.3% Y/Y increase. However, EBITDA declined by 29.3% to €556,000 ($578,000), and net profits dropped 74% to €78,000 ($82,000).

The Finnish mobile games studio attributed its strong annual performance to an expanding portfolio that includes Autogun Heroes, NERF: Superblast, Warframe on mobile, and an upcoming Netflix project, along with effective cost management. Nitro Games also highlighted the growing demand for cross-platform games, particularly those with mobile versions, aligning well with its ongoing platform expansion.

CEO Jussi Tähtinen emphasized the company's progress, noting that despite challenging market conditions, Nitro Games secured €9.4 million in follow-up orders and new partnerships. Tähtinen described 2024 as an “all-time high” for the company, stressing that its profitability is not a one-time event but a natural step in its long-term growth.

By focusing on action and shooter games across multiple platforms, Nitro Games has strengthened its market position and reputation. Looking ahead, the company remains committed to collaborating with top brands, expanding into new platforms, and sustaining its momentum toward further achievements.
