Wipro’s Agentic AI increases efficiency by 20-35% in software development, says CTO Sandhya Arun

Information technology leader Wipro is achieving notable efficiency improvements of 20-35% through the implementation of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, according to Chief Technology Officer Sandhya Arun.

This emerging technology enhances human decision-making and automates routine IT operations, with early adoption seen among digital- and cloud-native enterprises.

"Depending on the client’s technology stack and IT maturity, we’re witnessing efficiency boosts ranging from 20% to 35% with Agentic AI," Arun shared in an interview with Moneycontrol, following the inauguration of Wipro’s new 60,000 sq. ft. Innovation Lab at its Bengaluru campus.

Alongside this, Wipro also introduced its Global Innovation Network, aimed at co-innovating with clients on advanced technologies including AI, Quantum Computing, and more.
