XR Device Management Service Secures Millions to Scale VR Training
ArborXR Secures $12 Million in Funding to Advance XR Device and Software Management Solutions
This week, ArborXR, a leader in extended reality (XR) mobile device and content management services, announced it has secured approximately $12 million in new capital. This latest round of funding brings the company’s total raised capital to over $25 million.
The fresh investment will enable ArborXR to further enhance its XR device and software management solutions. The funding round was led by Mercury Fund and Cortado Ventures, with additional participation from Impact Venture Capital and Lewis & Clark Ventures. The support will help ArborXR scale the benefits of its XR-ready mobile device management (MDM) platform.
Brad Scoggin, Co-Founder and CEO of ArborXR, emphasized the growing recognition among global enterprises and institutions of the transformative potential of XR technologies. He stated:
“Enterprises see the potential of XR to drive significant cost savings, improve operational efficiency, and offer better training tools. ArborXR has set itself apart as a trusted partner for businesses looking to deploy, scale, and maximize XR within their operations. We continue to address the challenges of traditional MDM platforms by enhancing our solution’s capabilities and supporting our customers at every stage of their XR journey.”
ArborXR’s platform is designed to assist enterprises in adopting AR, VR, and MR technologies. Although XR adoption among consumers and enterprises has been gradual, ArborXR believes its MDM solutions can help modern workplaces, especially hybrid environments, scale immersive training and upskilling initiatives. The company notes that these new training methods could reduce training-related costs by 30-70 percent.
Growing Interest in XR Middleware
Adrian Fortino, Managing Director at Mercury Fund, highlighted the untapped potential of immersive technology. He noted that while XR has not yet achieved mainstream status, there is enough interest from enterprises to secure substantial funding for MDM and middleware solutions, which are crucial for building an immersive future.
Fortino added:
“ArborXR’s ongoing success underscores the value of this technology for enterprises and its potential to revolutionize operations across Fortune 500 companies, academic institutions, healthcare providers, and more. The ArborXR team has established itself as a dominant force in this rapidly growing industry, with an expanding global clientele.”
ArborXR’s MDM portfolio offers a centralized solution that allows companies to scale XR training programs and manage fleets of XR devices. Notable clients, including Bank of America, Pfizer, Delta, Walmart, and UPS, use ArborXR to enhance their upskilling efforts.
Mohsen Khurasany, Senior Manager of XR Innovation & Content at Walmart, praised the ArborXR platform:
“The ArborXR platform is incredibly user-friendly, and their team’s responsiveness has allowed us to continually improve and optimize our training initiatives. ArborXR’s content sharing and release channels have streamlined our vendor interactions, enabling us to test and deploy content effortlessly. The impact of XR has been remarkable, leading to better engagement, improved knowledge retention, and faster time to proficiency. As we scale XR training across the enterprise, ArborXR stands out as the best enterprise MDM solution on the market.”
